Thanks to all the people involved, the Arizona Technology Access Program’s* 12th Assistive Technology Summer Institute – Tomorrow in the Saguaros: “Cool Tools” was a great success. Assistive technology is all about the “tools” in the lives of all people with disabilities. We were able to show how assistive technology is continuing to move beyond the barriers that limit access to AT including the lack of knowledge about what is available while learning what is current and “cool”. We hope that you found this conference useful for increasing your understanding of assistive technology and its potential for improving independence for persons with disabilities!
